ملخّص: تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى فهم خلفيات التصعيد الإماراتي السعودي وأبعاده في اليمن، وبيان تداعياته على المستويين اليمني والإقليمي، وتحليل ديناميكياته على الساحة المحلية، وملامح المشهد الجديد الذي تتولى فيه السعودية قيادة التحالف بمعزل عن الإمارات في اليمن. وتتبّع الدراسة كذلك أدوار الدولتين في عدة محطات أسّست للدور المشترك بينهما في اليمن، منذ أحداث الربيع العربي، وانقلاب جماعة الحوثيين في عام 2014م، ودخول التحالف العربي لدعم الشرعية في عام 2015م، وصولًا إلى إخراج القوات الإماراتية من اليمن في ديسمبر 5202م، وتقدم هذه الدراسة أيضًا عرضًا تحليليًا لمجريات التصعيد وتباينات المواقف، وتوصيف حقيقة الخلاف ودوافعه ومحركاته، وآثاره الداخلية والخارجية. ABSTRACT: This study seeks to examine the background and dimensions of the Saudi–Emirati escalation in Yemen, as well as its repercussions at both the Yemeni and regional levels. It analyzes the dynamics of this escalation within the local arena and explores the contours of the emerging landscape in which Saudi Arabia assumes leadership of the coalition independently of the United Arab Emirates in Yemen. The study also traces the roles of both states across several critical phases that laid the foundation for their joint involvement in Yemen, beginning with the events of the Arab Spring, the Houthi coup in 2014, and the entry of the Arab Coalition to support the internationally recognized government in 2015, through to the withdrawal of Emirati forces from Yemen in December 2025. Furthermore, the study provides an analytical account of the course of the escalation and the divergences in positions, offering a characterization of the nature of the dispute, its motivations and driving forces, and its domestic and external implications.
